Seven steps, from the file on your side to bags on our cutting table. The day counts below are the same ones printed on our product pages, so nothing here is faster than what we actually run.
The short version
- Send artwork and quantity — we answer with a price, same or next working day.
- Mock-up plus a photo of one real sample bag — 3 working days.
- You approve, then place the order — we email a proforma invoice.
- Deposit clears, then production runs 7 to 10 working days.
- Balance and shipping — standard worldwide 5 to 8 working days, flat $25, free over $300.
A small approved order therefore lands in roughly 15 to 21 working days from the day you send the file. [replace] Peak season adds ___ working days.
Step by step
1. Tell us the bag, the quantity and the deadline
Three things and we can quote: the artwork (or a sketch, a photo, one line of text), the size and colour you want, and how many plus which country it is going to. Destination matters because it decides freight, and a bag that has to be in Rotterdam by the 20th is a different plan from one going to a warehouse in Ohio.
2. We pick the shape and price it
Every custom bag starts from one of our own base shapes, so the reply carries a real unit price rather than a range: cloth weight, one-colour water-based print, blank bag price and print cost. Quantity tiers are on each product page; 200 pieces and up is a written quote.
3. Mock-up and a real sample photo (3 working days)
You get a mock-up showing the print at true size on the bag, and a photograph of one actual stitched bag with your artwork on it, not a render. A physical pre-production sample is [replace] $15, credited back when you order 100 pieces or more, plus [replace] ___ courier.
4. Approve, or send it back
Move the artwork, change the size, drop a colour: all free at this stage, as many rounds as you need. [replace] After approval, changing the screen or placement costs ___ and resets the queue by ___ days. Approval by email is what we work to.
5. Place the order and get the proforma invoice
Either through the cart or by email, same result. You then receive a proforma invoice: unit price, quantity, packing, freight, total, our bank details and the order number as the payment reference. The cart shows the shop price; quantity tiers are applied on this invoice.
6. Deposit clears, production starts
Payment is by bank transfer (T/T) while our card account is being set up. Production runs 7 to 10 working days after the deposit lands: cut, sew, print, dry, check, fold, pack. [replace] Deposit ___% on runs over ___ pieces.
7. Balance, shipping, and what happens if it is wrong
Balance before dispatch, then the service you agreed: standard 5 to 8 working days at a flat $25 (free over $300), express 3 to 6 working days from [replace] $38 per 5 kg, air 6 to 10 working days from [replace] $5.50 per kg, sea 25 to 35 days quoted per shipment. Import duty and local taxes are paid by the receiver. Bags ship folded, one per paper sleeve, 25 to a 60 x 40 x 40 cm carton at about 12 kg.
If something arrives wrong, send photos within 14 days of delivery. Cracked print, seam failure or a size deviation over 1 cm gets remade or credited.
Where orders slow down
- A file that is not ours to print. If it carries a logo, a club mark, a celebrity face, a band name or film or game artwork, we stop until the licence is confirmed. Full wording on Terms & privacy.
- Colour decided on a screen. Ink on 12 oz cotton reads warmer and slightly darker than the same colour on your monitor, which is what the sample photo is for.
- The deposit. We hold the queue when your artwork is approved, but the clock starts when the money clears.
- [replace] Anything else that has actually cost a customer time in your workshop: ___
