If your file does not meet this, send it anyway &mdash; we usually fix it before quoting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Files<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Every measurement and fabric weight on this page is my working assumption, not your confirmed spec. Replace any figure you cannot match against your own bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Best: vector &mdash; AI, EPS, PDF or SVG, with text converted to outlines.<\/li><li>Also fine: PNG at 300 dpi or higher, transparent background, artwork already in black and white. That is what the <a href=\"\/index.php\/product\/single-leaf-line-print-tote\/\">leaf tote<\/a> asks for.<\/li><li>Not usable: a screenshot, a low-resolution JPG, or any file still carrying a stock-site watermark.<\/li><li>No artwork yet? A sketch on paper, a photograph, or one sentence about what the bag has to say is enough to start. Redrawing line art is part of what we do.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Water-based screen print is our default and it works one colour at a time: the ink sinks into the cloth, so there is no film on the surface and no box around the artwork.<\/li><li>On natural undyed cloth any spot colour reads true. On the <a href=\"\/index.php\/product\/washed-black-concentric-circle-tote\/\">washed black tote<\/a> the ground is dark, so white and pale inks are what show; full colour on a dark bag goes through heat transfer instead.<\/li><li>Photographic or gradient artwork: heat transfer &mdash; a slight film feel in exchange for full colour.<\/li><li>Marks up to 8 cm wide can be embroidered instead of printed.<\/li><li><span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Second colour: + $___ per bag; most screens we run carry ___ colours<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Size and detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reference point: the leaf print is about 12 cm tall and sits dead centre.<\/li><li>Thinnest line we currently hold on canvas is 1.5 mm, which is what the concentric-circle tote prints at. <span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Confirm with the workshop: minimum reversed (knock-out) line ___ mm<\/span>.<\/li><li>Small type behaves differently on fabric than on paper. <span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Minimum comfortable letter height: ___ mm<\/span> &mdash; send us your smallest word and we will test it on the sample.<\/li><li><span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Largest single-panel print we run: ___ x ___ cm<\/span>; beyond that the bag has to be cut differently.<\/li><li>Expect hand placement to move a few millimetres between pieces, the same way a body can measure up to 1 cm apart (see <a href=\"\/index.php\/shop\/size-fit-guide\/\">Size &amp; fit guide<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Front centre is standard. <span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Back print \/ print across a seam: available or not, priced ___<\/span>.<\/li><li>Handles, inside labels and woven tags are separate jobs. <span style=\"color:#c2410c\">[replace] Woven label minimum ___ pieces, + $___ per bag<\/span>.<\/li><li>If the artwork has to run near an edge, say so before the mock-up: it changes how the panel is cut.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you send, check these four<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You hold the rights to print it, or you have the licence in writing.<\/li><li>Print size and placement are written down, not only in your head.<\/li><li>Quantity and destination country.<\/li><li>The date you actually need it &mdash; a real one, not an optimistic one.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens to your file<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your artwork stays yours. We use it to quote, to make your mock-up and to produce your bags; we do not put it on another customer&rsquo;s product or on this website unless you say so in writing.
